What are vestments?
Vestments are the special clothes ministers and other church leaders wear for worship.
What vestments do you see at your church?
In the United Church there is no standard outfit for ministry personnel so we see everything from business casual clothing, formal wear, albs and stoles, clerical collars and Geneva gowns.
Perhaps you have a clergy member who’d like to come and show your children and youth all the different robes and accessories you can wear and let them play dress up.
Tori’s Aunt has even made a felt dress-up stole for her child that matches one of her own!
