Felt Christmas Tree

Tori created these felt Christmas trees for some toddlers in her life using sheets of felt and a handdrawn tree template. She finds it helpful to trace onto the felt with tailor’s chalk before cutting it out, but you can also use a pen. The tree took up the majority of a classic sheet of felt so it is roughly 11×8 inches.

She traced a roll of washi tape for the baubles and mixed some fabric paint medium with acrylic paint to decorate them.

This craft could also be done by a group to give as gifts to folks in your community, or sold as part of your Christmas bazaar (I’ll be making the advent wreath versions to sell at a craft market at the end of the month)! Or consider it as a crafternoon activity with children and youth.

Want to jazz it up even more? Consider adding some glitter felt!
