Air-dry clay is fantastic! It lets you enjoy the wonders of pottery without the need to bake your creation in an oven or kiln.
After making your creation you just need to let the clay dry for 24-48 hours before painting.
One easy activity is making candle holders. A simple formed lump with a hole is all it takes so children of any age, or adults of any creative skill level, can make one.
Tori’s trick is to always use one of the intended candles to make the hole so you know it’ll fit!
